Help FATA spread the word

Did you know that FATA routinely receives requests from individuals seeking art therapists in varying areas of the state? Or that we often get requests from those interested in studying art therapy, or those seeking internships, practicum placements or supervision?

We love knowing that art therapy is generating this interest, but at times, we struggle to keep up with these emails in addition to our regular board offices. We need to ensure that we respond to inquiries in a timely manner, with relevant referrals to providers, and quality information about art therapy. Therefore, we would like to form a Public Relations Committee to handle incoming information requests and help map our membership so we can provide regional referrals. In addition, this committee might be called on to help us get the word out to membership about special events or projects by creating documents such as e-mail announcements, letters, or simple flyers. Please contact Raquel Farrell-Kirk, President Elect if you are interested in participating in this committee. Raquel can be reached via the President Elect email address on the FATA website www.floridaarttherapy.org.
