Her current practice is in Broward County and she has spent the majority of her professional career working in crisis stabilization for acute care patients in hospitals and residential programs. Dr. Wasserman, was the thread to the Florida Art Therapy Association/ community for over ten years and during that time she held many positions on the Florida Art Therapy Board, one being the President. Once, the FATA board was stable she went to serve on the American Art Therapy Association as one of the conference chairs, a reader for proposals and now a BOD and Education Committee board liaison.
